BRCA initiative Goals 

The goal of this project is to increase health education and cancer prevention in the Colorado Jewish community.

Our goal is also to increase consideration and completion of genetic testing by members of the Jewish community by introducing an at-home testing option that makes clinically relevant testing accessible and affordable.

Our goal is to create a ripple that builds into a wave of cancer prevention. If we could educate and test 100 people, what could that be the following year?

Finding one BRCA carrier also implies the strong possibility of reaching and preventing cancer in biologically related relatives, such as cousins and various other offspring, touched by this potentially lifesaving information.
